We are thrilled to announce we have signed a collaboration agreement with the IGP Sobrassada de Mallorca Regulatory Council to strengthen our shared local values of identity, tradition and culture.
The alliance seeks to promote Sobrassada de Mallorca with Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) as a symbol of local culture and gastronomy, through a series of joint actions that will unite the passion for sport and gastronomy.
Andreu Palou, president of the Sobrassada de Mallorca PGI Regulatory Council, said: "The alliance with RCD Mallorca, a representative of our home, its environment of passion and commitment of the Mallorcan people, allows us to expand our presence and transmit the values of quality, authenticity and commitment that we share."
Rubén Forcada, RCD Mallorca's commercial and sponsorship director, said: "RCD Mallorca is proud to be able to establish a collaboration agreement with such an emblematic product for the island as sobrassada de Mallorca. For the club it is very important to be close to its traditions, its roots and the products of its land, so we are delighted to raise awareness of sobrasada de Mallorca at national and international level through various communication actions."
With this alliance, RCD Mallorca not only continues to expand its relationship with the island, but also reaffirms its support for local products, consolidating its identity as an ambassador of the island.
