A delegation of the group visited the training ground to meet with executives and players
A delegation of the Alfonsinos visited our training ground to meet with players, management and executives at RCD Mallorca.
The aim of the event was to bring together the history and present of the club as part of an initiative which involved an open seminar.
President of RCD Mallorca Andy Kholberg, CEO of Business Alfonso Díaz and Sporting Director Pablo Ortells were in attendance.
"It is an activity that we wanted to maintain, but which stopped during the pandemic,” said Díaz. “It is about connecting the player with the essence of the club so that they know that there is a legacy which the Alfonsinos and veterans are maintaining.
“That connection and those roots help the players to have that Mallorquinista feeling. It is a fundamental activity. It's a way of telling everyone that the legacy lives on."
"What we want is that the players who come new to RCD Mallorca know our history,” added president of Los Alfonsinos Pep Ginard. “The players are doing very well, there is a team of professionals who get along very well. There is a great dressing room and it is reflected on the pitch.”
