Martin Valjent, Omar Mascarell, Copete and Jagoba Arrasate analyse the 1-1 draw with Sevilla FC

Find out what the boss and our players had to say about the point

Martin Valjent, Omar Mascarell, Copete and Jagoba Arrasate were on post-match media duties after our 1-1 draw with Sevilla FC. Find out what they had to say below.

Martin Valjent:

On 150 games in LaLiga: You have given me a great surprise, I didn't know it and on top of that I scored a goal. To be able to score here today in the last minute with all the effort the team has made is a great reward for the group and for the individual as well.

On the match: I think that with the changes we created something closer to their area and I think we deserved the draw. It was a fairly even match.

On being away from home: We wanted to take a step forward away from home, this is a very difficult place and it's good to keep getting points. Now we have to focus on Sunday's match at home.

Omar Mascarell:

On the match: It's a huge satisfaction especially for the great work the team has done today. We are happy with the point, even for me. We had the best chances and I think we deserved more. We fought until the end and we got a point in a very complicated field.

On changes: In the end we are a team, we need everyone to be on the ball, the matches are very long and intense. The changes are very important in every match and today it was noticeable when we had the clearest chances. We are happy for Martin for his goal.

On the goal against: It was an action just before the break, I touched the ball, I told the referee and in the end it was an unnecessary foul. It was unfair for all of us, but that's football. We've had three good games away from home and we've also done well today. We deserved more, but this also strengthens us for the game at home on Sunday.

Jagoba Arrasate:

On Valjent's goal: We had the match almost lost, but we were rewarded for our effort and, I think, for the match we played. It's a good result.

On the match: An even first half and a second half in which we had very clear chances. Congratulations to the team and to the fans who came.

On the last minute: When you insist, the prize comes and we insisted until the end.

José Copete:

On the point: It was difficult for us but the team insisted and kept working. We were able to get the draw because of our insistence.

On the match: The message was to insist, getting points here is always complicated and the team managed to do it.

On changes: As we always say, they are very important and today they were very useful for dynamism. The commitment of everyone is very important and that says a lot about the team.

On 35 points: I think it is a good score at this date, there is still a lot left and the most difficult. I think this is the path to follow and this way we will surely achieve our objective as soon as possible.

On the home game: Alavés is playing for their lives, they are very low and these are the most dangerous teams. We will have to go out with everything to try to win.
