Vedat Muriqi, Martin Valjent, Omar Mascarell, Sergi Darder and Jagoba Arrasate were on post-match media duties after our 3-1 win against UD Las Palmas. Find out what they had to say below:
Vedat Muriqi:
On personal feelings: I am leaving very happy. At the moment there is no happier person in the world than me. I scored two goals and the team managed to win the match. Let's keep going for more.
On individual action: It was bad luck but the truth is that I wanted to, but in the end it's football and that's it. Hopefully this will help me to work harder to score again next week.
On the victory: The first half, apart from the goals, we did very well. With and without the ball we were very comfortable. In the second half we struggled a bit but we knew we had to win the game no matter what. Playing badly or well doesn't matter to me, I wanted to win the game as soon as possible and break that bad streak. I'm very happy and let's keep going.
Jagoba Arrasate:
On breaking the bad streak: I think we needed it, and also with our people. We're very happy.
On the first half: I think we came forward four times in the first half and scored three goals. Efficiency is key in these games and it usually makes the difference.
On the game: Yes, I think that's a good thing about the team, they don't settle for just one goal, we went for the second and that gave us a lot of relief. Even in the second half we had the chance to score the fourth.
On Takuma Asano: He's a player we need. He started the season well, then he had an injury but now he is getting better and better and he is a constant threat for the opponents. This is the Asano we want to see.
On Vedat Muriqi: Apart from the work he can do, if he can score goals for us, he's great. He has scored three goals in two games this week, it will give him confidence and hopefully he will continue like that.
Sergi Darder:
On the bad run: What a first half, we've seen that we've had minutes of his second half to score the fourth, but that's part of football. It's a day to enjoy and to congratulate everyone.
On effectiveness: We also counted Domi's save, it gave us half a game. We have been very effective and this gives us a lot of confidence to keep playing good games.
On his position: In the end it's my place. I have played in this position for eight or nine of my eleven years in the elite. I've felt very comfortable, the team has supported me very well and I've felt very comfortable.
Martin Valjent and Omar Mascarell:
I think we all enjoyed the game after a month and a half of suffering. We got back to our essence, to being a very intense team and beyond that things went very well for us. It's a shame we didn't keep a clean sheet but now it's time to prepare for the match against Sevilla. This continues and it's important to have got back to smiling a bit.
Offensive aspect: The first half was very good, we created a lot of chances, the team played together and we knew what to do at all times. I'm left with the team's hunger to go for more. We have to keep the positives, we enjoyed both the fans and the players. We have to continue in this vein because there are still a lot of games left
On Vedat Muriqi: This self-criticism from one of the most important players is very good for everyone because that is always the starting point for improvement. He knows he can score more goals, today he showed a very high level but his behaviour and commitment has always been impeccable.
On defence: Maybe that's the thorn in our side today, we wanted to keep a clean sheet because I think we played a very complete defensive game. We were very good together, with our vigilance? We have to take all the good things, continue in this vein and from there continue to grow and keep improving to have a good season
