232 lights are installed at the Visit Mallorca Estadi
Phase three of our lighting project is underway
The new lighting and energy project of the Visit Mallorca Estadi has reached phase three as 232 lights have been installed.
Forty-four light projectors have been installed in the East Stand marquee and another 44 in the West Stand.
We are also dismantling four lighting towers and replacing their projectors and wiring with new LED technology lights in order to improve both lighting and sustainability.
Each tower will be equipped with a total of 36 LED projectors, reaching a total of 232 spotlights throughout the stadium.
The renovation will last approximately one month and in time for the first match after the league break.
A new generator will also be installed to support the lighting in the event of a power failure, thus guaranteeing the match and television broadcasting.
Phase IV, the final phase of this project, will take place during the month of January and will consist of the installation and configuration of an advanced lighting control system.
