RCD Mallorca held a presentation ceremony for new signings Aleix Febas and Aleksandar Trajkovski on Tuesday afternoon with president Andy Kohlberg and Maheta Molango in attendance. Find out what all four had to say about the club, the season ahead and this weekend's trip to Valencia in La Liga.
Andy Kohlberg
"La Liga is international and RCD Mallorca is known in the United States - more so than other teams. When we arrived we wanted to restructure and get into La Liga. That has been our philosophy: to have a good footballing base, good coaches, good work and develop well. We want to do all these things in La Liga."
Maheta Molango:
"I want to to say thank you to Aleksandar and Aleix for their support of this project, they never had any doubt about coming and that is very important. I want to to take advantage of this moment as well to give thanks to Real Madrid, particularly José Ángel Sánchez, because it would have been impossible to bring Aleix here without their help.
"The fan's response to the new season doesn't surprise me, we are happy and proud. The other day we almost sold out, without giving away or compromising tickets - they came because they paid.
"We know the things we do well, we have a group that is the envy of a lot of people. With our arsenal I'm going to whatever ground without insecurity. We have to maintain what we have done and go game by game."
Aleix Febas:
"RCD Mallorca is a great club and we have all proved that. The dressing room has been very welcoming during our adaptation. I feel very comfortable here and with a lot of potential to improve at an individual level. I feel good.
"Valencia is a difficult came but we are going to go there without compromising anything. We are at a suffcient level to face Valencia with everything and we are going to go for it."
Aleksandar Trajkovski:
"I'm very proud having come to this great club and to have been given this opportunity. My team-mates have shown to me that this is a team and now we have to concentrate on reaching our objectives.
"I have only changed islands moving from Sicily! I have seen how the manager works and it's a little bit different to Italy but I have always wanted to come to Spain and play and now it has come to fruition. I like this style of football more than Italian.
"It will be a tough game against Valencia but we have to play our football without fear and we have to play as a team."
