Antonio Raíllo, Pablo Maffeo, Sergi Darder and Jagoba Arrasate evaluated our 1-0 loss to CA Osasuna. Find out what the trio and our manager had to say below:
Antonio Raíllo
On the match: It would have to be watched back and analysed but the team tried to create and believed in it. In LaLiga the small details make the difference. They had two or three chances and were able to convert one of them into a goal and we weren't able to convert any of out. We lacked a little bit of precision when putting crosses into the box and maybe also the last pass and the last move. We haven't created much, we haven't had the freshness and accuracy that we have had in other matches. From there, we have to analyse it and keep believing in the idea.
On the next match on Tuesday: We have to focus on the next match, there is nothing left. We have to recover, we play at home and try to make up for it.
Pablo Maffeo
On his evaluation of the match: I think the first half was theirs, they had several chances, although we had Asano's chance. They were better than us but we have to continue. There are no excuses, this has just started and we have to keep improving.
On not being able to score: We lacked a bit of that, yes. It was a different game than last week's, but we have to keep going. On Tuesday we have another game and we will go to win.
On moving forwards: We have to forget about the defeat now. We have to correct the mistakes, as a team we have to talk about the things we have done wrong and also value the things we have done right.
Jagoba Arrasate
On the match: Well, a negative reading of the game at first, when you lose it can't be any other way. We were uncomfortable in many phases of the match and that goal tipped the balance. From that point on, we wanted to, we had more pace and more presence in the area, but it wasn't possible.
On what the team was missing: Above all, we lacked more depth and Muriqi had to play better. The two central defenders set him up very well and there was space to look for that depth but we didn't interpret it well.
On moving on from the defeat: When you have a defeat, you have to learn quickly, get up and train tomorrow, because on Monday we will be on the eve of the next match. We play again with our people and let's see if we are better to be able to get the three points on Tuesday.
Sergi Darder
Evaluation of the match: Everything we had analysed and thought could happen has happened. We had our chances, if we had scored Asano's chance, the match would have changed. The team is doing good things, but there are things we have to improve. We are growing, we have done some good things and that's what we have to keep.
We're growing, we've done some good things and that's what we have to stick with: In the end, they scored that goal with a move which had three or four rebounds. It is true that they could have scored five more, but I think we also had enough chances or at least clear chances to score a goal. In these types of matches, the penalty areas make the difference. Now we have to learn from our mistakes, because in three days we have another match.
