The defender heads to the MLS with an option to purchase
Braian Cufré has joined New York City on loan for the MLS season with an option to make the deal permanent.
Cufré arrived at RCD Mallorca in the 2020/21 season and helped the team with promotion in his first year.
That season he played a total of 31 games and scored his first professional goal in Spain before joining Malaga CF on loan the following year.
Having featured in the side eight times this campaign, Cufre heads Stateside until the end of 2023.
