We were held to a 1-1 draw against CA Osasuna as Vedat Muriqi’s opener from the penalty spot was cancelled out by Flavien Boyomo’s injury time equaliser.
Facing his former team, Jagoba Arraste welcomed back Pablo Maffeo to the starting XI while the opponents had ex forward Ante Budimir within their ranks.
The game started very evenly, with both teams well positioned and without conceding too much space.
Muriqi would come closest to opening the scoring in a first half with few chances although our forward was unable to find the back of the net with flashes at goal.
The game opened up in the final 10 minutes after a second half without much action as Muriqi won a penalty having been hauled down in the box and then made no mistake from the post.
The visitors continued to press for an equaliser and found it in injury time when a cross into the box was knocked down by Budimir and found Boyomo who struck from close range.
The draw leaves us level on points with CA Osasuna as we look to get back to winning ways against UD Las Palmas.
