We are delighted to announce that we have reached an agreement to extend Martin Valjent's contract until 2029.
Arrived on the island on loan in the summer of 2018, Valjent has become a key player in central defence over the years and became the third non-Spanish player with the most appearences for the club.
His performance on the pitch and his attitude off it have made the Slovakian one of the most appreciated and respected players among our fans.
After two promotions to LaLiga, a Copa del Rey final, a Spanish Super Cup semi-final and more than 220 matches, Valjent is one of our leadership figures as a named captain.
