We were unable to break the deadlock and had to settle for a point as we were held to a goalless draw at Valencia CF.
Javier Aguirre opted for Dominik Grief in goal while Sergi Darder, Jaume Costa and Nacho Vidal all featured.
Chances were few and far between throughout the opening exchanges as both sides struggled to create anything of note in the final third.
The game briefly came to life close to the half-hour mark when Valencia CF called for a penalty and were awarded it initially, but the VAR review showed that there was no handball by Omar Mascarell.
We headed into the break goalless having been limited to a handful of half chances.
Greif had to be at his best after the restart to deny Pepelu from a free-kick, before Gio Gonzalez produced a heroic goalline clearance to deny Peter on the follow up.
Nemanja Radonjić looked lively coming off the bench and forced Giorgi Mamardashvili into a reaction save.
Hugo Duro also tested Grief late on, but the points were to be shared as we headed back to the island with our focus now on the Copa del Rey final.
