Record number of season ticket holders and an increase of under-14s

The total number of season ticket holders increased for the 2023/24 season, which reached an all-time high of 20,779. In the previous season, 2022/23, the number of season ticket holders was 16,986, representing an increase of 3,793 between one season and the next.

This enhancement is higher than the increase between the 2021/22 and 2022/23 seasons, where the improvement totalled 2,515 season ticket holders.

This increase is higher than that between the 2021/22 and 2022/23 seasons, where there was an improvement of 2,515 season ticket holders.

Likewise, the number of season ticket holders under 14 years of age has increased by 55.29% compared to the previous season: from 2,241 in 2022/23 to 3,480 in 2023/24. This represents 1,239 more children attending our games as we engage with the next generation of RCD Mallorca fans.

Greater attendance by season ticket holders

Of the 16 matches we have played against teams that were already in LaLiga during the 2022/23 season, there has been more attendance by season ticket holders during the 2023/24 season in every fixture.

From highest to lowest, the matches with the highest number of season ticket holders present were Real Madrid (16,996), Girona (16,535) and FC Barcelona (15,735).

With an increase of 57.97%, the match between Mallorca and Girona was the match with the highest increase in attendance: from 10,467 season ticket holders in 2022/23 to 16,535 in 2023/24. It was followed by Almería (52.98% more) and Celta Vigo (46.83% more).

Improved overall attendance

In 12 of the 16 matches (75%) that we have played against teams that were already in the Primera División in the 2022/23 season, there have been more total attendances during this 2023/24 season.

The games against Real Madrid (23,456), Celta Vigo (21,105) and Atlético de Madrid (20,809) had the most fans during the season.

With an increase of 71.83%, the match between Mallorca and Celta Vigo was the one that experienced the biggest increase in attendance: it went from 12,280 spectators in 2022/23 to 21,105 in 2023/24. It was followed by Almería (63.35% more) and Girona (53.52% more).

It is worth noting that the match against Celta was the inauguration of the new Estadi Mallorca Son Moix and the match against Almería was the last home game of the season, where we secured our place in LaLiga for another season.

Only against Getafe, Cádiz, Osasuna and Athletic Club have the general public attendance figures been lower than last season's 2022/23 campaign.

While we continue to grow both on and off the pitch, we look forward to seeing many more Mallorquinistas ahead of the 2024/25 season.
