Pablo Maffeo spoke to the media after he made his 100th appearance for RCD Mallorca against Sevilla.
Our right back initially arrived on the island on loan with a mandatory option to buy and Maffeo believes his first season gave him the foundation to reach this milestone.
“It's true that I arrived my first year on loan with a compulsory option to buy in case of permanence and it happened. From then on, I think everything went a bit smoothly.”
Enjoying various high points over the following seasons, one of the defender’s fondest moments was helping us stay up with a vital result in Pamplona.
“I was very saturated; from the injury, from the fact that I wasn't feeling well and that I went through some difficult moments in my life over the last few years.”
