RCD Mallorca B fall to a 3-2 defeat at Platges de Calvia
A late comeback on behalf of the hosts saw us surrender three points late on at Poliesportiu Municipal de Magaluf
RCD Mallorca B surrendered a slender lead with five minutes remaining in a disappointing 3-2 loss to Platges de Calvia at Poliesportiu Municipal de Magaluf.
Manager Julián Robles made three change to his side in response to a 2-0 defeat at Binissalem on Matchday 23, opting for Alberto Redondo, Enric Martínez and Erick Rafaela in favour of Jaime De Las Marinas Gil, Adrián Montalban and Raul Parra.
Following a first half without goals despite chances to break the deadlock for both sides, Martínez found enough space to open the scoring seven minutes after the restart.
Against the run of play, the hosts fought their way back into the game through Daniel Bardolet in the 77th minute, although Karim El Kounni quickly restored our lead with his first goal in red and black.
Three points were not to be however as first Bardolet equalised and then Javier Castedo struck in the remaining five minutes to condemn us to a hard-to-take defeat.
