The Japanese forward becomes our latest signing of the summer
We are thrilled to announce Takuma Asano has joined RCD Mallorca on a two-year deal.
The forward heads to the island after playing last season at VfL Bochum in the Bundesliga where he played 29 games and scored six goals.
A a versatile attacker, the 'Jaguar', as he is nicknamed in his country, is a regular for Japan and has 52 caps to his name and has also played for Hannover 96 and VfB Stuttgart in the Bundesliga, as well as Partizan in Serbia and Premier League side Arsenal.
Asano becomes the fourth Japanese player in the club's history after Yoshito Okubo in 2005 and later Akihiro Ienaga and Takefusa Kubo.
