Abdón Prats and Rodrigo Battaglia visit Penya Mallorquinista Miquel Contestí de Llucmajor

Our players and first-team staff held a meet and greet with the fan group

Abdón Prats and Rodrigo Battaglia recently paid a visit to fan group Penya Mallorquinista Miquel Contestí de Llucmajor.

Assistant manager Toni Amor and CEO of Business Alfonso Díaz were also in attendance at the event as our stars signed autographs, posed for pictures and met with local fans.

Both players were recognised with awards at the event and were presented by fan group president Margalida Garau Miquel.

"It is a great feeling what I feel towards this badge and towards you, and towards all the people who love me,” Abdón Prats said at the event. “When I put on the Mallorca shirt it is the greatest thing you can feel and I try to represent you as best I can on the pitch.”

“I am probably one of the players who has been at the club for the shortest time, but I am very happy and very content,” added Battaglia. “The truth is that the fans show me a lot of affection and that Mallorca is a family. We hope to have a great season, we have a fantastic group and a good coaching staff.

"It's a pleasure to be representing the club,” added Díaz. “We are proud to be here and to see so many people. There are a lot of young people. We see that Mallorquinismo is alive, and we are living it. For our part, we are going to give everything, the club and the players - who are already showing it. They are leaving their souls out there each game.”
