Abdón Prats and Salva Sevilla analyse our victory over CD Castellón
The goalscorers reflected upon an entertaining three points at the Visit Mallorca Estadi
Goalscorers Abdón Prats and Salva Sevilla shared their thoughts on our 3-1 victory over CD Castellón at the Visit Mallorca Estadi. The former opened the scoring with a well-taken volley and then rounded off the evening with his fourth goal in three games, while our midfielder crowned a free-flowing move with an unstoppable effort from inside the box. Find out what the pair had to say below about the game, their goals and team spirit.
On the game...
Abdón Prats: "We are all connected, and it’s spectacular for the group and for everyone else. There is a lot of ambition, from the one who plays less to the one who plays more. I'm happy with the way the team is responding.”
Salva Sevilla: "I am very happy for the goal and victory, as well as the feeling we’ve got as a team. We knew we had to win after the good result the other day in Almeria. Every team has very good players and CD Castellón made it difficult for us. We have to value what we’re doing.”
On the goals and team...
Abdón Prats: "It has been a magical week. If I had dreamed of a week with goals, victories and minutes, it would not have been as perfect as this. The coach and my team-mates are giving me that confidence and I'm very happy. On Saturday we have a tough game – they [Leganés] have a good team and they will make things difficult for us. We have to go for a point when the game starts as well as fighting for all three points.”
Salva Sevilla: "My goal was built on great play with good combinations. Now it's time to think about the next game, the one in Butarque will be complicated one. They are doing well, but we have our weapons and we will try to take our chances to get all three points.”
