Alfonso Díaz discusses the tourist impact of RCD Mallorca at FITUR
Our CEO of Business outlined the effect of our stadium redevelopment in the capital
CEO of Business Alfonso Díaz participated as a speaker at the "Tourist impact of professional leagues and sports competitions" event hosted by FITUR Sports, the sports tourism section of FITUR 2024, at the International Tourism Trade Fair being held from January 24 to 28 in Madrid.
Accompanied by the General Director of the ACB, José Miguel Calleja, Alfonso Díaz highlighted how RCD Mallorca contributes to the promotion of tourism by helping to position Mallorca as a stable, recurring destination with a global reach beyond the most popular summer months.
He emphasised the economic impact that the club generates in the local economy, where the recent reform of the Estadi Mallorca Son Moix has turned the stadium into one of the most modern venues in Europe and a nerve centre for the city. The Estadi Mallorca Son Moix is also a space that in addition to football offers entertainment, culture, music and events of all kinds 365 days a year.
Diaz made special reference to sectors such as MICE tourism and stressed that RCD Mallorca has created a variety of offers for each visitor to find the perfect experience in Son Moix.
