Antonio Raíllo, Dani Rodríguez and Matthew Hoppe analyse our 2-1 defeat to FC Barcelona
Find out what the trio had to say following our loss at Camp Nou
Antonio Raíllo, Dani Rodríguez and Matthew Hoppe were on post-match media duties after our 2-1 defeat to FC Barcelona. Memphis Depay and Sergio Busquests scored either of half-time, and while Raíllo managed to pull a goal back late on, we were unable to get back into the match. Find out what the trio had to say below:
Antonio Raíllo…
"The team worked and competed very well. They subdued us, but we took the step forward. The second goal hurt us and they have a lot of quality, but at the end of the day I'm left with the fact that we didn't lose face in the match. We have to overcome this and go for Granada CF.”
Dani Rodríguez…
"It was a complicated match and we knew we couldn't give anything away. I'm happy with the team's reaction and the fact that we were close at all times. It's a very important week for us and we need everyone to be close. We have to be there for the rest of the team.”
Mathew Hoppe…
"We have created danger for FC Barcelona and that's good. We have to keep going and think about Granada CF. It's going to be the most difficult game of the year and we have to think positively to get the three points.”
