Antonio Sánchez, Dani Rodríguez and Muriqi analyse the 2-2 draw at Rayo Vallecano
Find out what the trio had to say about the point
Antonio Sánchez, Dani Rodríguez and Muriqi spoke to the media after our 2-2 draw with Rayo Vallecano. Muriqi and Antonio Sanchez’s strikes were cancelled out by Álvaro Garcia and Falcao’s goals. Find out what the trio had to say below:
Antonio Sánchez:
"I'm happy to keep adding minutes and keep helping out. We're on the right track. We're starting to get into a good dynamic and I think we should be happy about that. It's true that you leave with a strange aftertaste at the end, but I think we have to keep going that way."
Dani Rodríguez:
"We have to be proud of the team and how they reacted after Girona. We've had two games in which we've been the Mallorca that everyone wants to see. We are that Mallorca with a lot of intensity and a lot of personality when it comes to defending and attacking."
Vedat Muriqi:
"I started the season very badly with two missed penalties. But then thanks to my teammates, the fans, the technical staff, I scored against Celta and from there it has been the real Muriqi.
"It hurts a lot, because winning until the last minute, fighting, fighting, and instead of getting three points, you only get one. It hurts. Before the break we have Valencia waiting for us and we want to give the three points to our fans and go into the break with peace of mind.”
