RCDM manager Fernando Vazquez has met the press after completing the last session before the Lugo trip. The team travel to Galicia where tomorrow play a new LaLiga 123 game.
When asked about the spirit of the team, Vazquez has described his soldiers as “mentally strong, doing well”. In this sense, he has admitted that “victories always gives you an extra edge and once they start rolling, there’ll be a confidence boost”.
The Galician will be without Roberto Santamaria and Juan Rodriguez, both sidelined through injury, but has vowed confidence on Jesus Cabrero and Damia Sabater as great replacements.
Once in the lab analyzing the upcoming rival, Vazquez dug into it saying that “Lugo is a very solid side and this season they’re up there because of a strong squad and brilliant manager. We will try to control the game and score soon. I want to retrieve offensive freshness coupled with a good game and some luck, as always needed.”
Lastly, our manager has told the press that the “team’s performance is very constant as we have 4 cleansheets to our name this season, which portrays the solidity of the defensive block”.
