Javier Aguirre was on post-match media duties after our 2-1 loss to Girona. Bernardo Espinosa gave the hosts the lead on the stroke of half-time, but we levelled matters with 10 minutes to go through Vedat Muriqi’s penalty. "It was an even match. Perhaps with that in mind, the problem was giving the ball to the rival. We took advantage of the spaces. In the first half they had no clear chances. Neither did we. Maybe a shot against the post and a couple of chances, but not much else.
“They had the ball, but we left them little space. Their goal was unfortunate because it bounced to Jaume in the area and Bernardo found it and put it in. That disrupts you because you're trailing, it already happened to us in Valladolid and against Getafe.
“We tied the game and just when we were promising to be happy, the second goal came. That goal was the difference.”
