Goalscorers Antonio Raíllo and Amath Ndiaye analyse the win over Málaga CF
The pair shared their thoughts with club media on our 3-1 victory over Los Albicelestes at the Visit Mallorca Estadi
Antonio Raíllo and Amath Ndiaye were on post-match duties following our 3-1 win over Málaga CF at the Visit Mallorca Estadi. Having both found the back of the net and helped us extend our unbeaten run to eight games, the pair couldn’t hide their delight as they reflected on their goals and the performance of the team.
On the game...
Antonio Raíllo: “I’m very happy for the win and how we’ve played as a team. We have a very good squad and all the players bring something when they play. Everyone who goes out to play, does so motivated to show that and that gives us a lot. The freshness of the team has given us strength to score the third goal and see out the game."
Amath Ndiaye: “We have had a good game. We have worked because we knew that we were facing a great team. We have managed to core early and with that goal we have not lowered our arms and have gone for the third. There are a lot of games during this week, the boss puts out distinct teams and the whole team is working very well.”
On the goals...
Antonio Raíllo: ”I’m happy for having scored but more so for the team. If I have the luck of scoring, that’s a good thing. I got a bit of stick for hitting the bar last week but today I’ve managed to score. The goal against us has been a bit unlucky and deflected off me. It’s a shame the about the goal because I wanted Manolo Reina to go down in RCD Mallorca history."
Amath Ndiaye: “I’m feeling good after recovering from an injury. I’ve enjoyed things and it was my turn to continue going forward. We’re prepared for Sunday. We’re already thinking about Zaragoza now and we will be going for all three points.”
