The Estadi Mallorca Son Moix has been announced as the host of Joaquín Sabina's emotional farewell performance.
The famous artist will perform on the stadium's turf on the 7th of June in an event organised by Grup Trui which promises to be an unforgettable night.
The configuration of the stadium will be special for the occasion, with a capacity limited to 8,000 attendees and an ‘amphitheatre’ type format that will place both the stage and the numbered seats directly on the grass and the North Zone of the stadium.
Alfonso Díaz, CEO of RCD Mallorca, said: "This agreement with Trui reinforces our commitment to convert the Estadi Mallorca Son Moix into a space that is truly the home of all Mallorcans. We want our stadium to be much more than a football venue: a socio-cultural meeting point where music, culture, gastronomy, fairs and much more can take place. We aspire for the Estadi Mallorca Son Moix to be alive 365 days a year."
Miki Jaume, from Grup Trui's management, said: "We are deeply proud of the result and convinced that the audience will experience an unforgettable night in such a special place for all Mallorcans."
