We delighted to announce that Leo Román has signed a new contract with the club that will run until 2026.
Our academy graduate made his senior debut last season in the Copa Del Rey before featuring in LaLiga as he totalled five first-team games before being called up to Spain under-21s for their European Championship qualifiers.
"I am very happy and excited,” Román told club media. “It's something I've been dreaming of all my life – taking that the step forward in professional football.
“This dream has come true after many years of work. I hope this is just the beginning of something beautiful and a long career that allows me to enjoy what I like to do the most. I want to thank RCD Mallorca for the trust they have placed in me.
“It is special. Any child from these islands dreams of one day playing for RCD Mallorca - that is a big plus. Being a kid from the reserve team, I have felt very loved at all times and I want to thank the people for that."
