Lima gets involved in the social programme of the Foundation
RCDMB forward Limamou Sow has started to act as a great support for the Reial Mallorca Foundation. Club and Foundation want to offer him the professional opportunity to get involved in the social programme Wherever You Play You Win.
The player will work alongside the coaches from the Foundation every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon with the Son Gotleu youngsters, aged between 13 and 21 years old. They play in the so-called 'green league' with other 11 teams.
Lima landed from Senegal 3 years ago, is aged 21 and lives on his own in Palma. His experience can be very fruitful for the young kids as he has changed impressions with them and could act as a reference for them.
The Club's project
Beyond training them football-wise, Real Mallorca wants to enrich all these people as a personal evolution, be it academic or fostering their abilities. What is most important to reach professional football is discipline and respect.
Boots recycling campaign
Lima is collecting used boots to ship them back to his country. The Foundation supports a boot recycling campaign for the player to distribute them in Senegal for barefoot players.
