Luis García Plaza: ‘CD Castellón are the most difficult side at the bottom of the table’
The manager spoke to the media ahead of our clash on Matchday 35 in his pre-match press conference
Luis García Plaza says he is wary of the quality CD Castellón possess ahead of our trip to Castalia on Saturday afternoon.
Despite hovering above the relegation by a single point with just two wins from their previous five games, the boss believes his side must not underestimate the quality of Matchday 35’s opponents as the race for promotion heats up.
"If we think they are an easy opponent we are wrong,” he told journalists via a remote press conference. “Of the teams at the bottom, they are the most difficult because they are in great shape. In the last eight games, they haven't conceded a goal in five. It's going to be a very tough game. The players have nothing to relax about, they are going to win every game and they have boundless ambition.
"The person who thinks that we are already in the First Division is very much wrong. We still have a lot to fight for and to achieve. Let's take it one game at a time and not think about much more.”
