Luis García Plaza: ‘We’re very motivated to get three more points’
The boss spoke to the media ahead of our clash with CD Mirandes
Luis García Plaza says his side are hungry to get back to winning ways ahead of our clash with CD Mirandes on Saturday afternoon.
Having suffered back-to-back losses away from home, the boss believes putting an end to recent form could hold the key to further cementing an automatic play-off spot.
"We didn't like the two defeats because we started very well, but after the goals we had a hard time,” he told journalists via a remote press conference. “We really want to get three points again, but we can only work hard and think that we can do it. We have to know that if we win, we don't depend on anyone or any situation. We are going to be calm and we have to try to cut out this bad dynamic.
"CD Mirandes are one of the teams I like the most because of their playfulness and the hunger they have in every game. They are also a very young and dynamic team. For us it is a crucial match, but if we don't win we will have to go to Malaga to win and to continue getting points.”
Having been in sent off in the final few minutes at CE Sabadell, Plaza will be watching on from the stands as assistant manager Pedro Rostoll takes charge.
"I'm going to be attacked with nerves as it's a completely different feeling. I trust Pedro Rostoll a lot and he is vital. He knows what the team is looking for and the players have a lot of confidence in him. In any case, I really wanted to be there and even more so because of the way the expulsion happened.”
