Mallorca B wins by 0-1 the first leg of the Regional Final of the FA Cup
Mallorca B has played today at Sa Pobla the first leg of the Regional Final of the FA Cup. The academy Mallorca tema has beaten Poblense by 0-1 in a very balanced game.
Olaizola’s side have needed time to adapt to the game and the locals have had the best chances at the start. It did take lots of effort from Mallorca to create any danger and the goal didn’t come until the second half when the French Enzo put his team ahead with a spectacular goal. The striker hummered from 50 meters a ball that went into the sticks.
With the busy Schedule ahead for the Olaizola men, the manager has called up 3 U18 players to give rest to other players. From the usual XI, James has played down the wing as he won’t feature in Sabadell because of being suspended.
Apart from a favourable score, the best bit of the game has been to see Cedric play again in the last 15 minutes. The academy player has made his debut this season today.
The return leg of the Regional Final is to be played next Wednesday at the Antonio Asensio Training Complex.
