Find out what Manu Morlanes, Jose Copete, Cyle Larin and Jagoba Arrasate had to say about our 2-1 win against Girona:
Manu Morlanes:
On the win: It's three points. In the end, they give us an important boost in the standings. We were coming from two defeats and at home with our people it always tastes better to win again.
On being defensive: It's crazy what happened today, to be down to 10 so soon. Seeing how the team competes is a pleasure, the union with the fans... you have to be here to experience it.
On his thoughts: In the end, with one less player, you have to run a little more. But that's what we are here for, for what the match and the coach require. Happy because in the end we won.
On Larin's performance: It was incredible. We know that he hasn't had easy moments since he arrived. Things didn't work out for him, but I know that he worked every day to have nights like today. I try to make him push himself because he has incredible conditions.
On 27 points: I think that when we started the season, not even in the best dreams. We had to be optimistic to think that we would get this score with one game to go before the end of the year. We have had a complicated first half of the season with very, very difficult home games. Now we also have to think about Getafe.
José Copete:
On the win: We knew it was a difficult match and that it was going to cost us a lot. Girona is a team that plays very good and very offensive soccer. We had the intention of winning and we did it, suffering.
On defensive solidity: From Cyle, who played a brutal match, to the defenders, we did an incredible job. We held our own, we did a great job and this is a team victory.
On coming from behind: It is very difficult and with one less, not to mention it. The team showed grit, showed heart and the three points stay here.
On his return: It was going very well until I got hit in the other ankle and I held on as best I could, but very well. I really wanted to help the team and if it's to get the three points, all the better. I'm going home very happy.
Cyle Larin:
On the match: It's one of the best since I've been here. We worked together as a team and got the three points.
On his thoughts: I felt comfortable playing alone up front. With my speed and power I managed to play a good game.
On the stadium reception: I am very grateful for the ovation. I am happy to score and win, we are very high in the standings. I and the team are very happy.
Jagoba Arrasate:
On the match: I was very pleased with the team's effort, the communion with the fans and the three goals.
On turning the result around: Sometimes courage has these things. Last home game we lost 1-5 because we were brave and today we won with one less player. Their first goal didn't hurt us, we equalized and we had chances to go ahead. We defended very well, with a lot of effort, rigor and sacrifice.
On defensive solidity: We took a step forward in that against a team that is very dominant. I think we defended very well and it was something we needed because the last few games we were making mistakes.
On if the win was more than three points: Yes, they certainly are. It is the last home game of the year, because of how the game was, how we all celebrated and who scored the goals. A little bit for everything. We have one more week left and we have to go to Getafe to win.
On Cyle Larin: I am very happy for him. He has gone through bad moments as we all know, but he is getting more confident, he is getting better and better and today he played a great match. He scored two goals and was decisive. This will help him to gain confidence.
