Pau Salvans’ stirke seperated the two sides in a frustrating defeat
We were unlucky to suffer a 1-0 defeat at AE Prat as Pau Salvans’ second-half strike was the difference away from home.
Our youngsters started strongly but were unable to convert possession in the final third into anything of note throughout the opening exchanges.
The hosts were left frustrated by our resolute defending in the first half as we entered into the break deadlocked with both sides unable to create any goalscoring chances.
AE Prat took the lead two minutes after the restart when Salvans made space for himself to get away a shot which beat Jaime.
While we scrambled to find an equaliser, and despite some late chances to dramatically pull level, we headed back to the island empty handed and with our attention now on facing RCD Espanyol.
