Pacheta’s second-half strike condemned RCD Mallorca B to a 1-0 defeat against PE Sant Jordi at the Campo Municipal Kiko Serra.
Julián Robles named a largely unchanged side following our goalless draw against C.F Platges de Calvia on the previous matchday, opting for Pablo Gálvez over Enric Martínez in midfield as we looked to rediscover our goalscoring touch with the highly-rated Juvenil graduate Javier Llabrés leading the line.
However, the opening exchanges yielded little clarity for either side, and despite a competitive tempo to matters in midfield, we headed into the break unable to open the scoring.
Although a combative restart read from the same script as the first half, the hosts took the lead when Pacheta showed the killer touch which had been absent for much of the match in 57th minute.
Despite our best efforts to mount a comeback, we were unable to level matters and suffered fell to defeat. We will now turn our attention to the hosting of Llosetense on matchday 14.
