Match report: RCD Mallorca B 2-1 Serverense

Javier Albín and Adrián Montalbán hit the target as we leave it late to take all three points

We managed to come back from a goal down to beat Serverense 2-1 thanks to Javier Albín’s strike and a dramatic last-minute winner from Adrián Montalbán.

Our youngsters started the stronger side and had control of possession as Valverde and Miky Femenías caused problems for the visitors throughout the opening exchanges.

Ibra Diabaté and Pau Mascaró came close to opening the scoring by latching onto crosses, but neither were able to get any luck as we continued to press for the first goal.

However, it was the visitors who took the lead courtesy of a penalty from Tomás Leal in the 31st minute after Valverde had tripped Felip Mas.

We headed into the break a goal down and with a big 45 minutes ahead of us in order to preserve our unbeaten form.

We were not to remain behind for too long as Albín levelled matters in the 61st minute with a composed finish inside the box.

Although we continued to press for a winner, we had to wait until the 90th minute before Montalbán secured the three points with a cheeky chipped finish.
