Ibra Diabaté’s 90th minute winner secures our third consecutive victory in a tightly-contested fixture at Son Bibiloni
Ibra Diabaté’s 90th minute winner stretched our run of consecutive wins to three games as we overacame UD Poblense with a 2-1 victory.
A tightly-contested fixture got off to the worse possible start as Miquel Alorda fired home Miquel Jaume’s pull back following a fine individual piece of play in the fourth minute.
We weren’t to remain a goal behind for long as Pep Gayà equalised matters by latching onto Marc Carmona’s cross seven minutes later.
Despite the early action, the game soon lost its momentum as chances were far and far between and we headed into the break level.
The second half read from the same script as the previous 45 minutes as both sides were limited to a handful of half chances.
The game sprang to life with less than five minutes left on the clock as Penyafort forced Leo Román into a fine save.
Diabate would ultimately decide matters with one of the last kicks of the game by racing through on goal and finishing with composure to hand us a dramatic, late winner.
