Goals from Josep Gayà and Àngel saw us come from behind to beat SD Eibar 2-1 and book ourselves a place in the quarter-finals of the Copa del Rey.
Luis García named a much-changed starting XI for the cup fixture as Leo Román started in goal alongside fellow academy graduates Javier Llabrés and goalscorer Gayá.
We didn’t get off to the best of starts as we struggled to find our rhythm in the final third as the hosts looked to hit us on the counter.
Abdón would have one of the best chances of the first half on the half-hour mark, but the striker’s effort was off target.
With chances few and far between as the break approached, Leschuk broke the deadlock when he guided home Correa’s teasing ball into the box in the 44th minute.
Not to be discouraged by the setback following the restart, and with the introductions of Iñigo Ruíz de Galarreta and Martin Valjent at the expense of Salva Sevilla and Franco Russo, we started to get a stranglehold on the game.
Cantero was called into action to first deny Llabrés with a smart save, before Joan Sastre tried his luck with an effort from distance.
Our early pressure would eventually pay off as Gayá levelled matters when he reacted first in the box to put away Ruíz de Galarreta’s whipped corner in the 68th minute.
Substitute Ángel Rodríguez completed the comeback with just nine minutes remaining when he got in front of his marker to head home Llabrés’s cross and secure our place in the next round of the competition.
