Muriqi, Aguirre, Abdón and Antonio Sánchez evaluate our 2-2 draw against FC Barcelona
Find out what the four had to say about the point post match
Vedat Muriqi, Javier Aguirre, Abdón Prats and Antonio Sánchez evaluate the point obtained against FC Barcelona after a 2-2 draw at the Estadi Mallorca Son Moix.
Muriqi:
"We needed this. We knew that if we put in the fight and heart, it could happen with some luck. I think it's a fair result. Now we have to keep working hard and try to score in Vallecas.”
Aguirre:
"I think people are leaving happy, both in the dressing room and in the stands. We needed to recover our identity. We are vulnerable if we start doing stupid things, not running, not showing solidarity or playing individually.”
"Winning would have been a bit unfair because Barça didn't deserve to lose.”
Abdón:
"There has been a spectacular atmosphere, with a very nice atmosphere reminiscent of the night of the promotion against Deportivo. I'm very sentimental and felt it could be a great night. We have to be happy. I wish we had won because we have worn ourselves out. We have to continue in this line. If we play like this against other teams, we will get a lot of points."
Antonio Sánchez:
"It was a very demanding match, but the team showed its face and showed a good image so that the energy that the team wants you to feel was felt. We are very happy.
"It has been a strange summer on a personal level, but my teammates have made me feel very comfortable and in the end the reward has come. I'm happy, hungry for more and very excited."
