We have launched a special video ahead of our trip to Saudi Arabia for the Spanish Super Cup as we face Real Madrid on Thursday, January 9.
The video, which lasts 2 minutes and 11 seconds and in which the entire first team and staff participated, begins with a girl from a Mallorquinista fan club who, surrounded by other fans in a bar, follows the team's news as they prepare to embark on a historic trip.
With a Dimonió doll in hand and a mixture of emotion and determination, the girl manages to sneak into the dressing room of the Estadi Mallorca Son Moix and hides inside one of the suitcases that the players are preparing for the trip.
The action moves to Palma airport, where the first team players are waiting for their flight. To kill time, the players decide to do what they do best: play football. Between touches, juggling and an improvised rondo, the atmosphere reflects the camaraderie and spirit of the team. But the fun came to an end when the coach, Jagoba Arrasate, stepped in to bring order and give the boarding signal.
This is when the most emotional moment arrives: as Arrasate takes his seat on the plane, he found the mini Dimonió with a handwritten note that read: ‘You are not travelling alone, the fans are with you. Amunt Mallorca!' As he reads it, he looks up and, in the crowd, he can see the little girl running down the runway as she says goodbye.
The message of the video is clear and powerful: the team will not be alone in this great adventure.
