RCDM B head coach Javier Olaizola has met the press today noon after completing the last session of the week. The team travel to Sabadell to face the home side at 19:00 in a new league engagement. Only three days after tackling Poblense in the regional final of the FA Cup, Olaizola has pointed out that the “team is feelling well and sensations are positive”.
When queried about the defeat last Sunday to Barça, the Basque has declared that he is “still proud to manage all this talent. The level of competition is so high.” In this sense, the gafer has recognized that despite not gaining three points, the “performance of the team allowed us to rescue many positive items”. He did also underline the academy team’s domination and superb teamplay for the first 20 minutes.
Already focused on the week, Olaizola has described the players as “mentally strong and are progressing because the defeat affects them after the game but not the following days”.
Finally into the Sabadell analysis, against tomorrow’s rival, Olaizola deems the opportunity as an “exciting one as there has been an evolution in the last few weeks, plus we’re improving on mistakes which will lead to better results eventually”.
