A product of La Masia youth system, the striker impressed for FC Barcelona B with 17 goals in 2016-17 before going onto be make his senior debut in the Copa del Rey and feature in the Champions League.
Hitting the target on seven occasions the following year, Cardona made the step up to La Liga football at SE Eibar in 2019 and went onto score three times in 19 games before joining CA Osasuna on a permanent transfer where he has made a quarter of a century of appearences and found the back of the net twice.
