RCD Mallorca appoints Andy Kohlberg as new president
The Board of Directors of Real Mallorca has appointed Andy Kohlberg as the new President of the Board of Directors. Kohlberg is currently Vice Chairman and one of the main shareholders of Real Mallorca, he has a strong background in professional sports. Kohlberg is a key shareholder and Vice Chairman of the Phoenix Suns. In addition, Kohlberg was a professional tennis player on the ATP Tour for 10 years. Kohlberg is also the President and CEO of Kisco Senior Living, a full service senior living company with more than 4,000 residents and 2,500 employees, with communities located in 7 states throughout the U.S.
The Board of Directors is also appointing Graeme Le Saux as a new Board Member. Le Saux has had a property in Mallorca for the past 13 years and has a strong connection with the island. Le Saux had a successful career as a professional football player for 18 years. He represented the English National Team and played in the Premier League for teams including Chelsea, Southampton and Blackburn Rovers. Le Saux is also an active member of the English Football Association (FA) and currently works as football commentator on NBC Sports.
Le Saux will act as Non-Executive Senior Sporting Advisor to the Board of Directors, which will now comprise of Le Saux, Robert Sarver, Andy Kohlberg, Steve Nash and Maheta Molango.
