Our CEO of Business was present for the ceremony alongside key figures on the island
CEO of Business Alfonso Díaz attended the presentation ceremony of the 50th edition of the Marxa des Güell a Lluc a Peu.
Also in attendance for the event was Tolo Bauzà, president of Grup Güell; Jaime Martínez, mayor of Palma; David Salom, director general of Sports of Palma and Toni Fuster, councillor for the Presidency of the Consell de Mallorca.
Alfonso Díaz said: "We are very proud to be part of this great family which is to be considered the great integrator of our society and for the participants to wear a scarf with our badge. On behalf of the club we also want to praise all the social activity that the Güell Group does to maintain this incredible hike from Palma to what is a symbol of our island. Fifty years since our beloved Tolo Güell undertook these 48 kilometres, the work you do is worthy of praise and that is why every year more and more enthusiasts sign up."
On Saturday the 3rd of August the annual walk will start from Palma in its 50th edition and on Sunday August 4 at 5:30 a.m., it will start from Inca.
Díaz ended his speech by once again thanking the club for having been involved in "one of the most special social events in Mallorca" and "let's celebrate it all together on August 3rd because the great success of both Mallorca and the march to Lluc are the people."
