RCD Mallorca complete the loan signing of Amath Ndiaye

The forward will spend this year at the Visit Mallorca Estadi on a temporary deal from Getafe CF

We’re delighted to announce the transfer deadline day signing of Amath Ndiaye on a one-year loan deal from Getafe CF with an option to buy come the end of the season.

A product of Real Valladolid and Atletico Madrid’s academy systems, the forward joins the club having made over half a century of appearances for Los Azulones and impressing on loan at CD Tenerife with a record of 12 goals in 35 Segunda División appearances in the 2016-17 season – including a strike at the Visit Mallorca Estadi.

Capable of playing on either flank in addition to being a central striker, Ndiaye adds further international experience to the side with four caps for his native Senegal.

“I’m very excited to come here and motivated to get started," he told the club's website. "I’m here to help a bit during a difficult season. We must try to go up.

“That’s what I’m going to try and contribute with here and win all our matches,” he continued reflecting upon his loan spell at CD Tenerife.

On behalf of everyone at the club, we would like to welcome Amath to the Visit Mallorca Estadi.
