The goodwill drive see presents get delivered to vulnerable children as part of a ‘Tree of Dreams’ initiative organised by CaixaBank.
Tree of Dreams will donate gifts to 25,000 children this year, of which 1,440 are based across the Balearic Islands. The initiative was founded in 2018 and has since donated gifts to over 70,000 children.
"This year, thanks to the help of companies in the Balearic Islands such as RCD Mallorca, The Tree of Dreams will be able to fulfil the dreams of many more children across the islands, so we are very grateful to count on the club for their solidarity with the initiative,” María Cruz Rivera, regional director of CaixaBank in the Balearic Islands, told club media.
"[We] stand by the side the most disadvantaged, as we have already done this year with the delivery of more than 50 tonnes of food to the Mallorca Food Bank,” added club president, Andy Kohlberg. "For us it is a duty to take into account those who have less. We must help, and the whole club has participated in this with gifts for the Tree of Dreams ran initiative CaixaBank.”
