Goals from Jaume Tovar, Carlos Gilbert and Adrian Montalban were the difference in a comfortable victory at Ciudad Deportiva Antonio Asensio
Jaume Tovar, Carlos Gilbert and Adrian Montalban got themselves on the scoresheet as RCD Mallorca B beat CE Constancia 3-0 at Ciudad Deportiva Antonio Asensio.
Following our first three points of the year against CD Ferriolense last week, Julián Robles made two changes to his starting XI: Jesus Ruiz was favoured over Eliás in goal while Carlos Gilbert featured over Fode.
Starting strong in spite of torrential rain, Tovar guided Gilbert’s cross into the bottom corner past the outstretched Maçia Bennassar just 15 minutes into proceedings. Things went from bad to worse for the visitors moments later as Gilbert then turned from provider to goalscorer, putting the final touch on Enric Martínez’s clever ball into the box.
Adrian Montalban put the game beyond doubt shortly after the restart when his powerful drive from outside the box found the back of the net. Three goals to the good and comfortable in possession for the remainder of proceedings, CE Constancia were unable to find a way back into the match as we held onto our lead.
