RCD Mallorca, the Phoenix Mercury and the Phoenix Suns agree partnership with Footprint
The material science company have acquired the naming rights to our VIP Corner and will provide plastic alternatives
RCD Mallorca, the Phoenix Mercury and the Phoenix Suns are delighted to announce long-term partnership with Footprint, a material science company creating a healthier planet by reducing dependency on single- and short-term use plastics.
The agreement will see Footprint not only become a sponsor of all three sides, but acquire the naming rights to our VIP Corner and the elimination of plastic products at the stadium.
"It was important for us to find a partner that would have a positive impact on our environment and the planet,” said Robert Sarver, majority shareholder of the Phoenix Suns, Phoenix Mercury and RCD Mallorca. “In this sense, Footprint is a global leader and with this agreement we will mobilise both partners and fans to lead us towards systematic change.”
“It is a sponsorship that seeks a positive impact on our environment and is in line with the club's strategy to reduce the use of plastic,” added Alfonso Díaz, RCD Mallorca’s CEO of Business. “Moreover, as it is an agreement that covers two continents, we will act as a bridge for Footprint to expand its 100% natural philosophy within Europe with RCD Mallorca.”
