We’re proud to announce we will be hosting the Argentine national team at La Ciudad Deportiva Antonio Asensio from Monday November 11th until Wednesday November 13th.
Former RCD Mallorca defender turned manager Lionel Scaloni has selected our state-of-the-art facilities as the base for preparation ahead of friendly fixtures against Brazil and then Uruguay. Training on Monday and Tuesday will be open to the public for 15 minutes at 17:00, while Wednesday’s double session will be behind closed doors.
Our recently renovated training ground has become one of the most popular bases in football following the installation of five pitches, modernised gymnasium and player recovery area. German sides FC Köln and Hertha Berlin and Chinese outfits Beijing Guoan, Shanghai Shenhua and Guizhou Hengfeng are among those to have taken advantage of La Ciudad Deportiva Antonio Asensio’s amenities, while players have also opted to hold their pre-season preparations in Son Bibiloni, with European champions Sadio Mané and Jordan Henderson having visited in addition to former World Cup champion Bastian Schweinsteiger.
Ahead of the upcoming mid-season break on the continent, La Ciudad Deportiva Antonio Asensio is expected to be a popular destination for teams looking to head into the second half of the season in fine form.
