Thank you, Capitan! Xisco Campos Leaves The Club Following Contract Expiration
The centre back will continue his playing career elsewhere with the doors open for a return upon his retirement
Capitan Xisco Campos has left the club following the expiration of his contract.
A product of the Son Bibiloni youth system, the academy product first made his debut in senior football for RCD Mallorca under former manager Héctor Cúper in 2004. Xisco Campos then featured in 72 games following his return to the island in 2017 and led the club to historic consecutive promotions from Segunda B to La Liga.
The 38-year-old will see out the remainder of his career elsewhere, although the club would like to express its doors remain open to Xisco Campos upon his eventual retirement.
We would like to thank Xisco Campos for his years of exemplary leadership on and of the pitch over his two spells in red and black, and wish him all the best for the future.
