The Governing Board of Palma City Council has approved the extension of the collaboration agreement between Palma City Council and RCD Mallorca within the framework of the Visit Mallorca Estadi until 2064.
The extension was a collaboration agreement between the City Council and RCD Mallorca (1997), while an initial duration period of forty years was set, extendable for a further twenty-five years.
This agreement is accompanied by the approval from Cort for the reform of the Visit Mallorca Estadi, with the first phase of the stadium remodelling beginning at the end of the league as the Grada Sol will be brought forward by eight metre, in addition to the installation of a roof.
The club will oversee the entire reformation of the stadium.
