Two careers dedicated to football with one common link: Real Betis CF.
Both Xisco Muñoz and Juanmi know what it means to score goals at the Benito Villamarín and wear the green and white shirt.
In the case of Xisco, he was a Real Betis Balompié player between 2005 and 2009, playing a total of 85 games; while Juanmi has been a fundamental player under Manuel Pellegrini’s side since 2019.
Ahead of our clash with Real Betis as we welcome fans back to the Visit Mallorca Estadi for the first time this season, our former player Xisco Muñoz met with Juanmi in Andalusia to discuss last year’s fixture and Saturday’s game.
"Last year we struggled a lot; in one game we drew and in the other we won here at home 2-1,” Juanmi said. “In the end, I think that in today's competition, there are no easy matches.
“I think it will be a very complicated match like last year's and they will want to get the three points in front of their fans. RCD Mallorca has great players. They will surely propose a style of play that will be bad for us and we will have to try to counteract it.”
