Like every season, LaLiga organization has elaborated a practical guide where values and responsibilities are gathered for players competing in LaLiga Santander LaLiga 1/2/3 and the Iberdrola Woman’s First Division to read. As a novelty to this campaign, the Welcome Guide includes the obligations to be acquired by the very players, through Clubs/Private Limited Sporting Companies, based on the TV Broadcast Regulations that have been recently implemented.
The Guide already features in the dressing rooms of the most important national competitions in our country. There is a foreword by LaLiga’s president Javier Tebas saying: “from LaLiga we keep insisting and working for our clubs and private limited sporting companies to access the best means for them to compete in the best possible way and thus making fans worldwide enjoy the show”. Tebas also has warned footballers to enjoy their employment with “responsibility and ethics, respecting the values of both game and competition”.
Only in this way, LaLiga can continue working in two directions: outwards, with the globalization and expansión of the Brand, and inwards, through he revaluation of the clubs and privated limited sporting companies’ rights and the defence of the ethics and fairness in all national competitions. Racism, Xenophobia, result arrangement or any attitude which wrecks sportsmanship has no room in LaLiga. As referents to millions of people, footballers playing in Spain should act as examples not only to our country, but to the world.
